Help this Family Find a Safe Home

In the fall of 2016, my family became homeless and we got separated by the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD). Unfortunately, five years later, my parents are currently struggling with alcohol substance abuse and we are still homeless. I created this go fund me-fundraiser, on behalf of my five younger siblings, in hopes we find a place we can call home. My five siblings and I have been through hard times these past few years. We're devastated that alcohol is slowly killing our parents, while actively tearing our family apart, and we're exhausted from being homeless. We urgently need your help to get back on our feet! As an older sibling, I’m going to take the responsibility of petitioning for guardianship of my five younger siblings. I plan to provide a sober, nourishing, safe, and healthy environment for them. All the funds raised in this fundraiser will go towards the security deposit, bills, rent, paying child custody lawyers, court fees, as well as other cost-related expenses such as food, gas, toiletries, and clothes. During the ongoing pandemic, my siblings need a safe, sober, and healthy home, but we cannot do it without the help of the community.
