Help this family get on the road! (Clavet, Sask)

Dean and Jackie were high school sweethearts. They married and had the large family they always wanted, five children, including two sets of twins. But their love story took an unexpected turn when they found out three of their four boys have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder that causes the muscles and nerves in the body to weaken. Over time, persons with MD lose the ability to walk, lift their arms, speak, and ultimately, breathe.

Dean and Jackie are a very proud couple- proud of the beautiful family they have raised but also too proud to ask for help. Although they work hard to provide for their family, they're in need of some expensive equipment that would be costly for anyone.

Two of their sons are already in wheelchairs, making mobility difficult when travelling anywhere. The boys are teens/adults, making lifting them difficult, so Dean is the only one who is able to lift them to and from the vehicle. Because he needs to be available in case the boys need him, it's difficult for him to run his drywall business. This is hard on him physically, and both of them financially.

This family makes laughter a priority in their daily lives but underneath, there's a lot of stress!

Family are hoping we can raise enough money for them to purchase a factory-designed van with a wheelchair lift that can accommodate a large family and three wheelchairs.

There are many people in this world that can use the help, but if you can find it in your heart to donate even a small amount, we know that they'll pay it forward in any way they can!
