<div>I’m raising funds for the Williamson family who are going through a tough time. Mark has had a major medical issue with a very long and unknown recovery ahead of him. On top of this, Mark has lost his source of income

<div>and medical bills are piling up and will continue to grow as the road to recovery is long and still a little uncertain. Anything you can do to help this beautiful family out with their medical bills and life expenses would be greatly appreciated. Below I’m going to use Marks own words to describe what has been happening…but on a personal note…this is a family that shows up. For every major life storm or emergency myself or my family has faced, the Williamsons and especially Mark…they show up. Mark has a giant heart and when people are at their greatest point of need, he shows up ready to help however he can. I know I’m not the only one too. When people are in crisis, Mark shows up. Without judgment and with a servant heart. So I ask you now, if you have been blessed by the Williamsons, take a moment to help support them in their time of need. <div><strong><em>What’s been happening in Mark’s words:</em></strong>

<div>The Williamson household has been going through a major life storm for almost two months now. We have not really been able to be express what has been going on, because life comes at you fast.
</div>

<div>I’m really sick. On March 13th, I went to the emergency room for some chest pains. Turns out I had gone into AFIB. They admitted me and the next morning I was supposed to have a procedure to correct the rhythm. Fortunately before they did it, they found a blood clot in my heart. So they stopped and later used ultrasound to check for other clots in my legs. They didn’t find anything, put me on a blood thinner and sent me home to return later after the clot dissolved.

<div>Two days later, after they sent me home, on St Patty’s day, I woke up to the worst pain in my leg. I held off until early evening before telling Tracy we had to go to the emergency room. This is where life changed for us forever. I had a very bad infection. In fact the doctors told me later that if I would have waited a few hours longer I would have died right there. They rushed me to the main hospital for the network and I underwent life saving surgery to remove the infection and tissue around it at 11 pm at night. They told me afterwards that I had about a 10% chance of waking up from that surgery. My body was completely shutting down.

<div>Tracy, was in shock and I was fighting for my life. A very small group of family and friends came to sit with her and love on her… those know who they are, and I have to say publicly, I love you and I can never repay the kindness and love you showed her and me that night.

<div>Well I have a very big open wound. I spent the next two weeks in ICU. Another five days in a step down unit and a week at a rehab hospital to learn to walk again… I was on dialysis in ICU and my body had swollen. They did this to keep my blood pressure up… I was at home for 5 days, but when I went to my cardiologist follow up, they immediately Re admitted me to the hospital for fluid retention. They put me on drugs to remove the fluid but in the process got my electrolytes so low, that my weak heart went into VTAC. They consider it a cardiac arrest, and I had 2 of them in less than 12 hours.

<div>They were able to remove over 70lbs of fluid from my body in two weeks. They finally sent me home with a life vest defibrillator that I have to wear 24/7, a wound vac to help speed up my recovery from the sepsis surgery, and a plan to heal and then get the surgery I need to stay alive.

<div>There’s other stuff that I can’t talk about yet with my job, but I know God will provide. He has abundantly blessed me already and I am confident He’s not done with me yet.
</div>

<div>To those who came to visit me, your support and company was a tremendous blessing and gift for me in a dark time. I felt the love of Christ surround me.

<div>Now that I’m back home, we need help. We don’t know how to ask and we don’t know what we need yet, but it will be a lot… I’m still months from recovery with this huge 9 inch open wound healing. After that I have at least one more procedure and a long recovery. We are still not sure of the full prognosis and what my recovery will look like. But everyday, I get a little better and push myself to get healthy and to be the husband and father I need to be. The future is uncertain but my resolve is strong. God bless you all.
