Help the Wildcats Honor Coach Clarke's Legacy

The Maine Wildcats are a non profit 10th grade boys AAU basketball team, founded in 2023 by Coach David Clarke Sr.

The Maine wildcats mission is to “provide affordable opportunities to youth basketball players through out the state of Maine. We promote academic achievement, and overall health and wellness for the purpose of creating a complete and well-rounded student athlete. We meaningfully engage, stimulate, and provide opportunities for amateur athletes through participation and events. We promote leadership, sportsmanship, fitness and skill development in an organized safe and positive environment”. Go Wildcats.

On August 9th 2024 The Wildcats suffered a devastating loss when their Head Coach and founder David Clarke unexpectedly passed away. Coach was not only their coach but Friend,Mentor and to some like a second father.

Coach spent hours planning and implementing fundraisers so that the boys could play no matter their financial circumstances.

Unfortunately due to this massive loss the Wildcats have not had the time to raise the funds to continue on with their fall season.

This is why we’re asking for help from our friends, family and the community.

Anything helps. This is an amazing group of young men that deserve to continue to do what they love and make their coach proud.
