Help the White Keys Replace their Stolen Gear

Donation protected
The short version:

The White Keys’ trailer containing their sound system, lights, instruments, and all of the gear they use to perform was stolen. ALL OF IT. The big stuff and the little stuff. Allen and Sebastian need your help to replace and rebuild what they lost.

The goal is to raise $20k by Labor Day. Please give what you can.

The long version:

Hi, I'm Lauryn - you may have seen or met me at a White Keys show over the years. I like to go out with the guys (when I can) to see them play and get in on the happiness they bring to so many people. I am married to Sebastian, and Allen and his wife are our best friends.

You may have heard that the White Keys' trailer was stolen last weekend, with all of their gear inside. And I mean ALL of it. An estimated $35,000 worth in total - including some items whose sentimental value can never be replaced (like Allen's drum kit from the Dropping Daylight days).

The trailer was packed and ready for a trip to North Dakota to play a wedding. Upon discovering the trailer was missing, Allen notified the police, and the search began. Friends and family across the country took to social media and shared and posted a “lookout” message about the trailer. Though there was a tracker hidden in the trailer as a security measure - all evidence indicates that it was discovered and disposed of. Pawn shops in the area were notified immediately. Currently, there are no leads.

So, let's cut to the chase - the White Keys need your help. If they have ever played your wedding, graduation party, business event, favorite bar, nightclub or restaurant - please consider giving to this fund.

Take a minute to remember the pure joy you felt hearing their music. Recall how hard they rocked your favorite song. Reminisce about when you questioned whether or not Sebastian was gonna hit that super high note - and then he totally DID.

These two have centered their lives around making and sharing music with people. Whether you are a family member, a friend, a fan of their other endeavors like Dropping Daylight or American Scarecrows - I think we can all agree that these guys don’t deserve this. They've got 20+ gigs left to play this year, and don’t have what they need to make that happen. Give what you can and help them rebuild.

Any amount you can give will help... and timing is key. The goal is to raise $20k by Labor Day. The guys will make it worth your while to give by providing customized thank you gifts - which could include anything from stickers to song dedications, personalized videos, and private concerts…

Oh, and in case you were wondering, on the day their trailer was stolen, they DID make it to that wedding in North Dakota, and I heard they gave one hell of a performance. I can't say I'm surprised, though, because that's what they do, and they do it the very best.

Don't forget to include some love and support in a message with your donation. I know that would mean a great deal to them.
