What once seemed impossible has shown us once again that, through faith, anything is achievable. We are truly grateful for the support surrounding this brave little fighter.

<div>As we navigate this journey, the Wardell family faces significant challenges, particularly with the absence of medical insurance and the need for both parents to be by Roman’s side during his recovery and aftercare. It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank you for the overwhelming love and support this community has provided. Your generosity has made a profound difference in their lives, reaffirming our belief in the goodness of humanity.

Instead, we kindly ask for your assistance in the form of financial support to help the Wardell family rebuild their home. Your contributions will help create a safe and peaceful environment for Roman to return to, allowing his parents to focus on their children during this critical time.

<div>I come to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for your compassion and support for a truly deserving family. A family of who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for many many years and raising my babies alongside theirs. A friendship that immediately became family, no doubt. Shayne and Kayla Wardell, along with their three beautiful children, experienced a devastating house fire late last night. They have lost nearly everything in their first home, a place filled with memories and love. We are grateful beyond words that everyone is alive, and that many of their belongings can be replaced.

<div>However, the road ahead for this family is incredibly challenging. Their four-year-old son is suffering from full-body burns and is currently in the ICU, as is their two-year-old son, who also sustained burn injuries. Their precious six-month-old daughter was only minimally injured. Both parents also sustained burns while heroically rescuing their children.

<div>The Wardell family has deeply rooted themselves in the Pamplin and Appomattox communities, calling this small town their home and a place where they have built a life filled with love and hope. Now, they face an unimaginable hardship, and we are reaching out to you—friends, neighbors, and community members—to help ease their burden during this difficult time.
