<div>Just a few days ago, this healthy, joyful baby girl suddenly began experiencing seizures—many each day—out of the blue. She was rushed to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, where the neurology team gave a serious diagnosis: Epilepsy—Infantile Spasms. This rare form of epilepsy can have lasting effects, and early treatment is critical.

<div>Before this unexpected crisis, life for Kim and Ben Wallace was already deeply challenging.

<div>Ben has been facing a medical crisis of his own for months.

</div>

<div>Kim has been walking through postpartum depression, while caring for her husband and four children.

<div>The family has been running on little sleep for a long time.

</div>

<div>And just days before Emma’s seizures began, Ben lost his job.
