Help the Waldens be near Meisee

Haydn and Laura have gone through so much recently. Last year, their first daughter was "born sleeping" due to an unsurvivable congenital heart defect. 

This year, they were excited to become pregnant again. While the pregnancy went well, they found out through prenatal testing, that Laura has triple negative breast cancer. As part of the breast cancer treatment, their daughter was delivered at 37 weeks. Meisee is a beautiful little girl, and while the family has a big cancer battle going on, everything was wonderful with their new addition. However, at 4 days old, Meisee developed problems that were diagnosed as a similar version of the congenital heart defect her sister had. She underwent open heart surgery while only less than a week old, and will be in hospital for months.


Her parents are staying nearby at the Ronald McDonald House, and will be there for at least a month. While accommodation is taken care of, they are spending a lot of money on food, and are losing wages because they are freelance. 

Through all of this, Haydn and Laura have never complained, felt self-pity, asked for anything (other than thoughts and prayers for their child) or given up hope. They are the most wonderful people who have always been helping people as long as I've known them. Even with all these experiences, they are still focused on helping others, sharing their experiences in a blog  to hopefully help others in similar situations.
