My name is Stephanie, and I live in Sumas, WA. Recently, my family and I have been affected by severe flooding in our area. The floodwaters have caused significant damage to our crawl space and ducting, and we’ve also experienced flooding in our garage and shop. On top of the physical damage, we’ve lost work due to the disaster, making it even harder to recover and move forward.

We’re facing a tough situation. Our insurance isn’t a real option for us, and if we file a claim, we risk being dropped by our provider. We simply can’t afford the repairs on our own, and while we’re hoping for help from FEMA, we need to address urgent repairs now to keep our home safe and livable. The funds raised will go directly toward repairing the damage and helping us get back on our feet during this difficult time.

This is hard to do, and I wish I were in a better position to help others in my community. Unfortunately, we need help ourselves. We are incredibly grateful for any support, whether it’s a donation or sharing this GoFundMe with others. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for any help you can offer. – The Wades
