Help the VanOs Family find a home
Donation protected
You may have seen us on the front page of the Townsville Bulletin this morning. We have had a few people advise us that we may be able to get some help during this tough time.
The VanOs family had to be evicted from their home as it was badly damaged in the floods and no longer safe to live in. This was unexpected and happened very fast, leaving the family with no where to go and no savings to get into a new home. They have been living in a tent at the caravan park but unfortunately they now have to leave there also.
With 2 children with disabilities, 1 of them living in the tent with them, it is very difficult and challenging. Due to the housing crisis, it could be months or years before they are able to get assistance. They have a good rental history but the upfront costs of a new lease and starting from scratch is quite costly.
We are reaching out to our community for help. Please if you can donate to help us get into a home, it would be greatly appreciated. Every donation big or small can help make a difference.
Thank you
