A Message from The Une – A Setback for a Major Comeback
Hi everyone, my name is Michelle, and I’m one of the Partners of The Une. My other business partners, Ilene and Kyle, and I woke up to devastating news this morning — our shop was broken into around 3 AM.
ADT, our alarm company, contacted us when the alarm went off, but unfortunately, we were asleep and missed the call. Thankfully, our amazing next-door neighbors at MacsbyIcky noticed what happened and reached out to alert us. We’re so grateful for their support.
As a small business, this break-in has hit us hard. We've poured so much love, energy, and time into building The Une — and in one night, so much of that was damaged. The break-in caused significant harm to our door and our POS system, which are vital for our daily operations.
We’re reaching out to our community — the same community we proudly serve with our Sandwiches, Boba, Dalgona Coffee, Dubai Strawberry Cups, and Dubai Everything — to ask for your help. If you're able to donate or share our story, it would mean the world to us. Every bit counts.
On behalf of The Une, we want to THANK YOU all in advance for the outpouring of love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
This is definitely a setback, but we know it’s only setting us up for a major comeback.
With love,
Ilene, Kyle and Michelle
