Help the Tucker family in a medical emergency

A big group of kids went out for a morning run mid Oct, a few days before a big cross country meet. They stopped at an intersection to wait for the “walk” light. Half way across a car plowed into them, taking out 4 kids! 17yr old Sydney sustained a head injury with 2 skull fractures, in the Occipital bone (at the back) and Temporal bone. “She laid like a broken barbie doll in the road next to the drivers door with blood leaking from her ear” said one of the poor traumatized girls who narrowly missed impact.

Her chance of competing dashed, and she faces lengthy bedrest and hefty medical expenses, past present and future. MRI’s, CT scans, X-Rays, ambulance, hospital stays, IV drips, interventions and God alone knows what future difficulties.

I spent the weekend with the family, my beloved college friend Rob is the Dad of this precious girl.

They are a close knit, incredible, beautiful family (of 5), heartbroken yet proud, and hesitant to reach for help, yet they need it, desperately, please.
