Help The Teel Family

Donation protected

I am asking for prayers, and if you have it in the kindness of your hearts donations to the Teel Family. There sweet daughter was born Friday August 25th 2017. Her name is Harper. Sweet Miss Harper has had a rough start to life outside of her mother Grace. This is an experience no family nor first time parents want to go through and it has been rough for them. Harper took in a large amount of meconium during birth causing lung and breathing issues when she was born. She also had complications with her blood sugar, birth blood sugar was at a very dangerous low number of 7. The very talented staff of Southwest Medical Center stabilized Harper and decided it was best if she took a ride in a jet plane to Wesley Children's Hospital. Harper flew first class, Dad and both grandma's made the trip to be with Harper and make medical decisions. Grace her mother couldn't make the trip until she has recovered from an emergency c-section. She remains hospitalized being cared for until Sunday at Southwest Medical Center. She will be making the trip to be with her daughter, Jordan, and the rest of the family when she is dismissed. Jordan and the grandma's arrived late evening at Wesley to be with Harper, they got to spend about an hour with her before they were sent for some rest. About 3 am Saturday morning they received a phone call stating Miss Harper was having a rough time with her oxygen levels and they were going to up her oxygen to a high flow cpap machine, and run more tests this morning. They ran all sorts of tests this morning and Harper's brain, heart, and all other scans came back in perfect condition. Praise Jesus. The problem remains with her lungs and the ingestion of meconium, there are spots on her lungs and lots of fluid. They believe she has developed pneumonia as well. So the staff at Wesley made the decision to send Harper to Kansas City Children's Hospital where they are going to give her special treatments they will be transferring her today. They are in high hopes to get this treatment going and to help her heal and that she will not have to go on full life support. We are hoping and praying all this works and Harper, Grace, and Jordan get her home in the next few weeks/months. No time frame has been given yet on the length of her stay. With this being said, Jordan and Grace both will be missing time off from work, medical travels, medical bills, motels, meals, and other money occurances. So if you would please share or have it in your hearts to donate please any small amount helps. Thank you !
