Help the Summerhays Family Rebuild

Donation protected
The Summerhays Family lost their home this weekend to Hurricane Harvey. While there are many in this situation, they are very much going to need to be able to rebuild their lives. They have an almost 2-year-old and a new baby to keep safe at home. Currently, everything in their home is under feet of water and its only rising. Their little boy has some things going on with his GI Tract and they have been seeing a specialist and needing elemental formula, which insurance has denied coverage for.

The impact of this hurricane is tremendous and it will be a very long time before recovery happens for those who had damage. Christopher (Cody) and Alana are amazing people who have rescued many furbabies - and have 4 of them who had to evacuate with them. They left with their babies and furbabies so that they could make it out safely and not be stranded in a home with rising water.

The Summerhays are newer to Houston and used to live in Utah. I know that Utah has an amazing community and that in times of need - can be counted on to really help people. The United States as a whole is an amazing place, filled with amazing people and NOW is the time to come together and help a family who truly needs extra love and support.

Please help however you possibly can. There are many who lost their homes and all of their belongings across the state. One by one, we can help families rebuild. The Summerhays opened their home to my husband when he needed a place to stay for work and I am forever grateful to them. Please, please, please help them rebuild.
