If yall are able to help we would greatly appreciate it! Even if it's just by sharing the link! I'm sorry to constantly be posting, we just dont know what else to do. This is our only vehicle at the moment, and with Mark's doctors appointments plus mine we have to have a way to get to and from. Were really hoping that his doctor will be releasing him to go back to work soon. He will not be driving a big truck again due to the vision loss in his eye, but his company is amazing and has stated he has a job no matter what and they will be finding him another position within Sysco. Sysco has taken care of us in so many ways and we owe a huge thank you to them, our church, and friends who have offered us rides to town and helped us in any way they could. 2020 is right around the corner and I am praying that it is kinder to us than 2019. I am not one to share dirty laundry, drama, or craziness which is what this year seems to have been full of. As many of you know we transferred back to Texas from Georgia in February and we were so excited for this change. I was beyond excited to get back home to Texas and be near my mom again. In March we found out our landlord sold our house (yes the one we just moved into) and we had to be out by April 30th. We scrambled to find another home within driving distance to Mark's work and that was big enough for our family and horses. We found one that needed soot of remodeling and the owner assured us it was going to be done before we moved in and like living in a brand new home. Boy we were suckers to belive him. We ended having 2 small electrical fires, the wiring for the septic caught fire under the house and the air conditioner ended up catching fire. We tried to get the property inspected so we could break the lease legally and were unable to due to being in the county. All while this is going on we found out I have Crohn's disease which sucks. It's a life long disease that has no known cure at the moment and cause all kinds of fun problems. I found a job that I love, but we decided to trade in our truck for a fuel efficient car (my dodge that is now in the shop) and mark was going to drive the yukon. Well the tranny went out and it was going to cost more to fix it than the vehicle was worth and we ended up making a deal for it to go back ( it was through a buy here pay here) At the end of July we ended up saying screw it our family was not safe and ended up moving into our home that we are in now. Our new landlord is amazing. Everything was looking up. I loved my job, we were getting ready to replace the Yukon, and we were going to be hunky dory. Well then in August Mark was working on the car that fell on him. He had a brain bleed, was leaking cerebral spinal fluid, and fractures all through his skull and a piece of skull pressing on his coroted artery. But God brought him through it with minimal damage. The only real permanent damage was the vision loss to his left eye. He was put on Short term disability but I lost my job having to take care of him. 3 surgeries later and lots of therapy he is doing amazing. We were on our way to the doctors in Dallas last thursday to get the ok for him to go back to work and to get his temporary artificial tear duct removed when the concrete fell out of that truck and hit my car. I have full coverage insurance but our deductible is $1000 & we have no rental reimbursement. my car is expected to be done on 12/20. with our Short term disability we litterally just have enough to pay the usual Bill's, and we have nothin left for the deductible. So here we are! Lol God works in some funny ways. We have been through ALL of this madness and we have learned to lean on Him. We have given Him the glory of Mark's healing and even seeing him through that accident. There is No EARTHLY way my husband should have been able to survive that. But here we are. We are at the end of this year, and we can see the light at the end of this tunnel. We just have to get through. I know God will provide, and I know we are going to be ok. But if you are able please help us. Even just by sharing our story or by a prayer.
