Help the Smith Family restore

During the week of 02/14/2020 Our area of far north dallas dealt with the coldest temperatures of the decade during a freak winter storm. We slept for 2 days in sub zero temps without power, hot water, cell phone service or ways to heat up or preserve our food. “Rolling black outs” were going on but we only had power for 30 minutes increments once in the entire 48 hour period. On 02/16/2020 after 18 hours in the cold, and the power being on for less than  2 hours the pipes above our apartment bursted, flooding our apartment as well as several other units. With the temps being below freezing, we were forced to leave to avoid hypothermia leaving everything outside of the clothes on our backs, our phones, medication and a few blankets. Everything else is destroyed. Any donations are welcome, and greatly appreciated and will be used for housing, food and other needs while insurance is being accessed.
