Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
We are reaching out during one of the most challenging times for our beloved Family. On 12/16/2024, while a member of the Saucedo family was undergoing back surgery, their apartment in El Monte, California, was tragically destroyed in an accidental fire.
This heartbreaking event has left the Saucedo Family without a home, personal belongings, and the essentials needed to get through the day. To add to the difficulty, Maria Saucedo is navigating recovery from surgery and facing a long road to physical and emotional healing. With Christmas just around the corner, the loss feels even heavier.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Not only did they work tirelessly to control the fire and salvage what they could, but they also rescued the Saucedo Family's beloved dog from the flames. Their bravery and dedication mean more to us than words can express.
This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise any amount to cover immediate needs, including:
Temporary housing and basic living expenses
Clothing, food, and household essentials
Recovery and support as they heal from surgery
This holiday season, let’s come together to show the Saucedo Family that they are not alone in this journey. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us.
Let’s help the Saucedo Family move forward with hope, dignity, and the strength of a supportive community.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and kindness during this difficult time, and thank you again to the LA County Fire Department for their heroic efforts.
With gratitude,
