<div>On Thursday, 1/9/25 Bert experienced a life-altering accident at work when a 5,000-pound pipe fell on him, causing severe injuries, including multiple fractures in his spine, arm, and pelvis. He was airlifted to St. Joseph Hospital, where he underwent a lifesaving surgery to stop internal bleeding and repair damaged tissues and organs. Since then, Bert has had additional surgeries, including one to place, pins and a cast and another to place a plate in his left arm.
