On October 1, tragedy struck when a devastating fire destroyed my in laws home. In just a few moments, everything was lost—clothes, furniture, cherished memories, and the sense of security they once had. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the road to rebuilding is long and overwhelming.

They are now faced with starting over from scratch—finding a safe place to stay, replacing basic necessities, and eventually rebuilding our lives. The costs of recovery are far beyond what they can manage on their own, and that’s why we’re reaching out for help.

El 1 de octubre, una devastadora tragedia golpeó a nuestra familia cuando un incendio destruyó la casa de mis suegros. En solo unos momentos, lo perdieron todo: ropa, muebles, recuerdos preciados y la seguridad que alguna vez tuvieron. Afortunadamente, todos lograron salir a salvo, pero el camino hacia la reconstrucción es largo y abrumador.

Ahora se enfrentan a la tarea de empezar de cero: encontrar un lugar seguro donde quedarse, reemplazar las necesidades básicas y, con el tiempo, reconstruir sus vidas. Los costos de la recuperación superan por mucho lo que pueden manejar por sí mismos, y por eso pedimos ayuda.
