Mason fighting for his life in the pediatric ICU

On the morning of  saturday Jan 2, 2021, the Ramos family in two seperate cars were driving up to Frazier Park to go see the snow. In a split second the car suddenly lost control and flew off the side of the mountain rolling down into a ditch. The family was taken to a local trauma hospital and evaluated. Mason, 7 y.o. was intubated and then medically flown to Fresno to see a pediatric neurosurgeon who performed a craniotomy and placed a catheter in the brain for the bleeding. He is currently fighting for his life in the Pediatric ICU. The rest of the family that was in the wreck was taken to the hospital as well, Rose Petralba suffered a sternal fracture as well as cervical fractures and will have to wear a back brace, the rest of the passengers and the driver were checked out and able to be discharged home.
