Help the protagonists of “Children of Las Brisas”

We have finally finished our documentary, 'Children of Las Brisas,' which we have been filming for a decade. It had its world premiere at the Sheffield Film Festival in the UK in June 2022.

The film has also embarked on an international film festival tour, having been screened in countries such as France, South Korea, Brazil, French Guiana, Ireland, and the Dominican Republic, among others. In November 2022, the film made its North American debut at DOC NYC Fest, the largest documentary festival in the US.

Throughout our festival journey, people have approached us, expressing their desire to support the film's subjects and help reach a wider audience. To address this, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign with the aim of raising resources for the protagonists.

Our primary objective is to enable the protagonists to access education and improve their living conditions. The film has opened up some educational opportunities for them, and we believe it would be wonderful to secure funding for their transportation and expenses.

'Children of Las Brisas' has received critical acclaim worldwide and has received several awards, including the SACEM Award (French Society of Authors and Composers) Jury Award for the Best Musical Documentary of 2022 and the Jury Award for Best Direction at the Amazon-Caribbean International Documentary Film Festival, where Marianela Maldonado was recognized.
