<div>Our son-in-law, Justin Pharr, is the hardest working, most wonderful father to our grandchildren and husband to our daughter that we could ever ask for. On May 6th, Justin took a hard fall at work. On May 9th, what was initially diagnosed as a fracture in the lower back, ended up not being a fracture, but instead, doctors were 99% certain that he had cancer. After over 2 months of tests, on July 28th, he was officially diagnosed with cancer the size of a softball, which has also spread to the lymph nodes.

<div>Justin will be having major surgery in mid-September, to start his journey to fight this cancer. This will require him to be off work for an extended period of time. During this time, Makayla will also be off work to help care for him during his recovery. As we all know, the bills will not wait for better days and will not stop piling up. Food and gas will also be needed as they travel to numerous appointments, and let’s not forget all the medical bills that will start to stack up.
