Help The Perk Cover Damages

Hey, I'm Jen and I've owned and operated Patterson Perk for 15 years. I feel pretty uncomfortable as a for-profit business asking for donations but I've been encouraged by neighbors to do so and honestly we're in the worst place we've ever been. Three days ago both of our windows were smashed in an attempted break in- they also destroyed our storefront and our outdoor tables and chairs. We finally fully reopened after Covid just a few weeks ago, but the pandemic took a huge toll on us as it did with most small businesses. Our insurance deductible is too high to cover the windows and our cash reserves are non existant coming out of covid. We didnt recieve any federal or state help during the pandemic and any grants that we applied for never manifested into anything. I'm humbly asking for some help to get back on our feet, replace our windows, keep our people employed as we close for repairs, and put in place future deterrents like updated street lighting and extra cameras. We've been fortunate enough to serve the community for 20 years this year, and we'd love the oppurtunity to continue being the little corner spot across from the park.
