The Pérez Cabrera family - Ricardo, his wife Raiza, and their four children - have faced many challenges in the small community of Los Robalos in Samaná. For years, they lived in a small house with holes in the walls, no bathroom, and no access to clean water.

Because of the extraordinary work of the local House Project, this family has a secure, strong home with a kitchen and bathroom and the basic furniture that has restored dignity and hope to them.

But that journey is not yet complete. The Pérez Cabrera children still require school supplies, uniforms, and other basic needs to make it through school for a better future. This fundraiser will be used to help the family with its bare essentials, such as:

- School uniforms, books, and backpacks

- Clean water and food supplies

- Household items and furnishings

- Support for ongoing home maintenance

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes an actual difference to this kind and hardworking family. Together, we can help make sure the Pérez Cabrera family is not only safe inside their home but also has a chance to thrive.

Alejandro Reglero (St. Thomas High School), Camilo Suarez (Miami Country Day), Nick Carabotta (St. Thomas High School) and Nicholas Bailey (Columbus High School) will once again travel to Samana, DR this coming February to deliver items to the Perez Cabrera family and assist however needed.
