<div>The people of Southeast Turkey were woken by an earthquake in the early hours. Thousands of citizens lost their lives in the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş.

<div>In Diyarbakir, dozens of buildings collapsed and hundreds of citizens lost their lives and the numbers keep rising. Efforts to rescue those who remain under the rubble continue as the Earth still shakes.

<div>My name is Selahattin and I was born and raised in the region where the earthquake happened. My family and many people were affected by this disaster. Due to the magnitude of the disaster, aid in the earthquake area was delayed and insufficient. Currently, millions of people have to stay on the streets in snow and cold weather conditions. businesses do not work or an adequate food supply is not provided. I am also going to Turkey this sunday to work with local organizations. Some of this money will be donated to Halk evleri and AHBAP. I will be involved in the works in the earthquake zone and try to heal the little part of the wounds.
