<div>Our dear friends, Amelia and Juan Peña, along with their children Colten, Grayson, and Isabella, are preparing to welcome a precious baby girl next week. Sadly, her arrival comes with unexpected challenges.

<div>Just weeks ago, doctors discovered that their baby is growth restricted and has been diagnosed with a complete atrioventricular canal defect. This means she will likely need time in the NICU after birth and will require open-heart surgery between 3–6 months of age, followed by a lengthy ICU stay. In the months leading up to her surgery, she will also need frequent pediatrician and cardiology appointments.

<div>This news came suddenly, leaving little time to prepare financially. Amelia and Juan are doing everything they can to be strong for their children, but the reality of medical expenses, time away from work, and the emotional weight of it all is overwhelming.
