Help The Orlando's Rebuild After A Devastating Fire
You may have heard about the devastating 5-alarm fire in Woonsocket on Monday night. My Aunt Aline, Uncle Mark, and their daughter Christina lived in that house. The fire was extensive, but fortunately everyone who lived there made it out safely. Two people, including Christina, had minor injuries. We are thankful for all the firefighters who risked their lives battling this fire, and we are especially thankful none of the firefighters were severely injured.
We are now trying to help our family members rebuild their lives. They have lost everything: their home, their furniture, their clothing, all their possessions. The timing of this fire couldn't be worse. My Uncle Mark was recently diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks. You might know my Uncle Mark as the man who ran Serio's Restaurant for many years. He was well known for giving free meals to people in need, and now he is in need. Many of you may also know my Aunt Aline through her many years of service with the visiting nurse agency, providing compassionate care to many elderly members of our community, including those in hospice care.
Please help us support our family through this terrible tragedy. All donations will be greatly appreciated and will be used to replace items they lost in the fire. Please help share this. Thank you!
