CRITICAL CARE fighting for his life!

On Monday, October 11th Brian Nugent ran the virtual Baystate Marathon. His loving wife, Liz gathered groups of people to cheer him on. As many of you know Brian experienced serious complications towards the end of his run and did not make it to the finish line. Brian had a massive cardiac arrest due to Rhabdomyolysis with organ failure. He was medflighted to Tufts and is still at Tufts in critical care with his parents, siblings and Liz by his side. They are staying at a nearby hotel so they can continue to be with Brian, but those costs are adding up in addition to caring for their house and 3 young children. They are being supported well by their family and friends, but there is so much unknown right now.

Critical care patients need continual care around the clock and with hospital costs averaging around $10,000 per day, medical costs are growing. If you would like to assist with this financial burden, any donations would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly to Brian’s medical costs, related recovery treatment and the families temporary living situation and needs. Any funds they do not use will be donated to charity. The Nugent family appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Everyone is holding onto the hope that Brian will continue to fight for his life.
