When you think 2020 has hit us with all it can, we get shown it can get worse.

Today, August 10, an insane storm ripped through the Chicagoland area. 100 mile an hour winds, and tornado warnings were rampant. Unfortunately our friends at Native Rituals in Oak Forest, IL got hit with the brunt of it.

As they were working the storm started hitting and ripped their roof off of the building. Luckily the staff was able to get out and get to safety but their studio has been destroyed from the damage the storm caused. 

From what we are hearing it is now in the hands of their insurance and the fire department, but they will be closed for the
foreseeable. Insurance hopefully will cover the studio damage, unfortunately it
doesn’t normally pay the staff when these things happen.  And after tattoo shops being closed for 3 months already this year, this isn’t going to be easy for any of them.

Jimmy and the crew at NR have been friends of mine for 13+ years, they were one of the first studios to reach out to mine when we opened, they have served as a great example of how you should treat people, other artists and studios in our industry. Please help out some great people and artists who have already had the cards stacked against them this year.
