The Medford Vocational Technical High School Robotics Team, Sunk Robotics, is proud to have won the 2024 New England MATE ROV regional! We will advance to the MATE ROV World Championship in Kingsport, Tennessee, June 18-22. To show support for the team and to ensure our ability to continue to represent MVTHS on an international level, we've established the goal of raising $5000 before our trip.
The MATE ROV Competition challenges students worldwide to engineer underwater ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) to complete a set of mission tasks based on real-world, undersea workplace scenarios. Our team spent countless hours preparing for the New England Regional. Members stayed after school every day in the weeks leading up to the competition and worked tirelessly to get our brand-new robot ready to compete. This year our team defeated highly prestigious schools such as Philips Exeter Academy.
In addition, our regional scores this year were high enough to suggest a strong showing at the World Championship! Please help us represent Medford and all of New England at the MATE World Championship and bring home a trophy!
Organized by students in the MVTHS Robotics Team.
