<div>Hello ice cream &amp; cookie lovers!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting us for so many years. This week has been an unbelievable loss for us. Storm surge from Hurricane Helene flooded our shop with 2.5’-3’ of water and has caused water damage throughout. <strong>We need to have all of the flooring, 5’ of drywall, all of the cabinets, refrigerators, freezers, and the computer replaced.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Renters are not provided the option of flood insurance, so we are on our own to pay for all of these repairs. Not to mention we now have no income. And a baby on the way in 17 days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm confident we will be given a bridge loan, which will help with about half of the estimated cost to rebuild.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are not the type to ask for help, but at a time like this, we figure it couldn’t hurt.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The demo and drying process is going to cost $9,000 and that’s just the first expense. So I figured I’d start with asking for assistance for that much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If all you have are thoughts and prayers, please send those; we appreciate the love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love,
</div>
<div><strong>Jenn, Mike, Hazel, and baby Henry</strong>
