Keith McClure, a family man, was in a severe accident at his home yesterday.
An explosion in his backyard, ended up catching him and his clothing on fire.
His wife, Renee McClure, with no water hose, threw herself on his body to put him out, saving his life.
He was life flighted by helicopter hours away to Vanderbilt Hospital, on a ventilator.
He's received 3rd degree burns on a large part of his body-his legs, groin, face.
They both work to support themselves and their family.
Help is needed for financial support. Being hours away from home.
Hours away from family and friends.
Receiving no income at this moment.
Medical bills pilling up.
Rent is still due. Utilities will still be due. Even the daily costs of being hours away from home.
Food. Lodging. Gas.
Just ask yourself one question: If you had a terrible accident tomorrow, and forced to be in a hospital hours away to recover....can you even imagine the large AND small costs of the situation?
Can you imagine being there for MONTHS?
Help is needed from all of our family and friends.
They are removing the ventilator tonight, if everything goes as planned.
However he will still need a blood transfusion and skin grafts, and most likely be hospitalized for months.
However they both still have a long recovery ahead of them.
