Help the Maggios rebuild their home!

My name is Amanda Wilson and I currently live in Charleston, SC but grew up and met Trish in Colorado. Like far to many in this community, my best friend Trish, along with her husband Dave and kids Sofie and DJ lost their home in the horrific Marshall Fires that ripped through Boulder, Louisville, and Superior, CO on Dec. 30th. Their home was completely destroyed, they had minutes to evacuate with their dogs and kids, and they lost literally everything. They are heartbroken right now and desperately trying to figure out next steps.

 

This home was the culmination of a dream that both Trish and Dave have worked their whole lives to achieve - they had just moved in this past summer. Now they’re left with a pile of ash. They need everything from clothes, to shoes, to toys, to coats, and boots. They need everything.

 

Those who know Trish and Dave know that they are the most generous and caring people in the world, and will do anything to help someone in need. Please help repay their love and generosity to all of us by contributing to helping them rebuild their lives. My name is Amanda Wilson (formerly Amanda Oestereicher)

2. Where you're from?

I currently live in Charleston, SC, but Louisville CO is my hometown. I lived my entire life for 35 years in this amazing city until my husband and family decided to relocate to Charleston 3 years ago. 

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for?

Trish Maggio (Imperato) is my very best friend in the whole world. We met working together just out of college and I have been blessed to have her be a part of my life ever since. We have done so much life together - from getting married in the same year, to having kids just a few weeks apart, to losing loved ones, and battling illness and ongoing life challenges. I can't imagine having anyone else by my side through it all. She is the epitome of strength and generosity. I love and adore her and her whole family as if they were my own.  

4. How the funds will be used (please be specific as possible)?

Trish and Dave's home was completely destroyed on Dec. 30 as result of the Marshall Fire that swept through Boulder, Louisville and Superior, CO. This fund is going to be used to help them rebuild their lives. It will go directly to them to help replace the endless number of things they lost - from food, to basic housewares, to clothing, to daily essentials, and all the way up to legal expenses, and building expenses to rebuild their dream home that they worked their whole lives for. While this fund has asked for a HUGE amount of money to contribute toward those goals, we all know that this will make just a small dent to what will be needed for them to get back to where they were. 

5. If you intend to withdraw the funds to your own bank account, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising funds for or use the funds on their behalf

Funds will be withdrawn directly to Trish and Dave's accounts as direct beneficiaries.
