Help the Loibl family with medical expenses!

Hello everyone! My name is Karlye, Richie’s niece, and I am starting this GoFund me page for the Loibl family! As you guys know Richie has been life flighted to a hospital in Kansas City early Friday morning for a kidney injury and he tested positive for Covid as well. They were able to start him on dialysis Friday and has been getting it everyday except today. His hemoglobin (blood count) has been low so he is getting blood transfusions. They are monitoring this regularly. Although things were starting to look better, Friday night he had complete vision loss. They checked him out for a stroke. Thankfully everything came back negative. They did a brain scan (MRI) which showed no clots in the brain. The doctors are thinking the vision loss is due to GCA which is inflammation of the temporal arteries. They started treatment for this. He is out of precautions for Covid and doing good with breathing. I wanted to start this page because if anyone knows Richie he has a sense of humor that will have the whole room laughing and he has such a kind heart who will give the shirt off his back. Karen is staying up in KC to be with Richie during this time so any donation would help them tremendously! I know medical bills are going to be pilling up and if there is any way you could help them I’m sure they would appreciate it! They are very appreciative of everyone reaching out to them and they will get back to you guys as soon as they can. I will post updates on this page as soon as I get them!
