Help the Ljiljanich Family

On Saturday, October 17, the Ljiljanich’s had their home destroyed by a ravaging fire. Derek and his wife Kim, their sons Dylan and Max, and dog Duke were able to quickly escape only to watch their home go up in flames. Their home is a complete loss. They were left with nothing but the clothes on their back.  Derek, a NYS Trooper, who’s dedicated his life to helping people, wishes to thank all the Firefighters and First Responders who answered the call on Saturday night. Their safety was his first priority and the family wishes to thank them all. The Ljiljanich’s are not the type to ask for any type of assistance but the harsh reality is that help is needed during this time.  It will be a long time before their home can be rebuilt and belongings can begin to be replaced through insurance assistance. I am Derek’s co-worker and after receiving an enormous amount of requests to help, I decided to start this page on his behalf. Any donation, whether large or small, would certainly help the family get through this very difficult time as they begin the long process of rebuilding their home and lives. In the mean time, they have nothing other than the love and support from family and friends. It will be a long struggle, but with your help, it could help ease the pain. All funds collected will be withdrawn and given directly to the Ljiljanich family. Thank you!!!
