Last week, the Lassus family experienced an unimaginable heartbreak—losing both of their beloved dogs, Morgan and Norman, within just a few days of each other.

Morgan, a spirited pug, and Norman, a loyal French bulldog, were inseparable companions from the moment Norman joined the family as a tiny 45-day-old puppy. Their bond was as strong as any, and when Morgan’s health began to fail, Norman’s decline followed swiftly.

For nearly 15 days, the Lassus family fought tirelessly to save them, seeking every possible treatment and answer from veterinarians. Despite their relentless efforts and love, Morgan passed away on Sunday, followed by Norman just days later on Wednesday. Saying goodbye to their furry family members was devastating but necessary to give them peace.

In addition to the profound emotional loss, the financial burden of their care has left the Lassus family in a difficult position. They spent their savings, took on loans, and still have remaining veterinary bills.
