<div>Yesterday, our dear neighbors, the Lao family, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. What began as a simple cookout in their backyard quickly turned into a devastating house fire. Within moments, their home was overtaken.

<div>Thankfully, everyone made it out safely — and for that we are incredibly grateful. But they have lost their home, personal belongings, clothing, furniture, and so many irreplaceable memories.

<div>In a matter of minutes, their lives were turned upside down.

<div>This family has worked tirelessly for years to build the life they have today. They started with very little and, through dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, created a home and stability for themselves. Everything they have accomplished has been earned step by step, from the ground up.

<div>As they begin the overwhelming process of recovery, they are facing immediate needs, and a long road of rebuilding. No family should have to go through something like this alone.
