Help The Lanier Family

Donation protected
Life can be full of surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing; sometimes not so much.

In April 2016, shortly after the birth of Matt and Elisa's first child Mikey, Matt was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis;  a nasty hereditary illness that currently has no cure.
Matt began using oxygen, going for treatment and was placed on the lung transplant list.  He continued to work, keep up with a toddler and maintain as much of a normal life as possibe, all while keeping that great attitude and always smiling. In the past couple of months Matt's condition went down hill quickly and the only remedy would be a double lung transplant.

On Sunday September 24th everyone's prayers were answered and Matt was the recipient of two lungs at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Surgery went well and Matt exceeded all expectations with his progress and healing.

Matt is home with Elisa and Mikey and doing well but faces a recovery of 6-8 months and a life time of medications and doctor visits to ensure continued health and acceptance of the lungs.

I ask that you join us in helping the Lanier family to tackle the incredible bills and expenses that come along with such a journey.

I am incredibly thankful that my dear friend was able to recieve this gift and thank the family of the lost loved one who saved his life.

Thank you all in advance for helping.
