<div>This fundraiser has been started on behalf of the Knechtle family, who lost their family home of 40 years in the Eaton Fire that ravaged Altadena and Pasadena.
</div>

</div>
<div>The fire was incredibly swift and took everything they had except for the minimal amount of clothing they were wearing or were able to quickly gather before evacuating.
</div>

</div>
<div>Both Hermann and Marisa came to America a generation ago, working hard to build a life here and raise their two children, Brandon and Marlise, living out their American Dream. This home was their every thing.
</div>

</div>
<div>They now find themselves in a position they never expected to be in and would never ask for donations, but as a community, we know that so many would like to chip in however we can with the unexpected costs that will arise on the difficult journey ahead.
