Help The Klingbeil’s

Donation protected
My name is Lynn, my daughter Elaine and her husband Evan have had a rough couple months! First it started off with an apartment fire end of July, they were displaced into a hotel for over a month. 2 days after the fire Elaine went into early labor, was sent to Berlin Hospital but then after about 12 hours was transferred to Theda in Neenah. Luckily after 2 days of hospital stays, they were sent home, and Elaine was on bed rest. After a couple weeks Elaine able to return back to work. That only lasted a few days, and back on bed rest she went because of a kidney stone/infection. Everything seemed to be good after that until about the second week of September when she had another episode of bleeding. Was monitored and sent home on bed rest once again. 4 days later her water breaks, go to hospital, 26 hrs of labor and still no baby. They ended up getting a c section, it was the best choice for mom and Baby at that point.

Then came Ellwyn James Klingbeil :)

Everything was fine until about 6/7 hrs after birth, when Ellwyns breathing started to get very inconsistent. Also he was very pale in color. Columbus Hospital then sent the both Elaine and Ellwyn to St Mary’s in Madison. Elaine had to be admitted for 4 nights cause of the csection. Evan stayed by her side the entire time she was there. Ellwyn unfortunately is still in the NICU since. He’s working on his breathing and eating. He ended up getting a whole body blood transfusion the night he was transferred in because he was very anemic. They assume he lost a lot of blood inside the womb, and leaked into Elaine. That has helped I’m tremendously. Now he’s on a 7 day course of antibiotics for an infection they still don’t have a name for. Or never will. Apparently in babies , it’s a broad spectrum kind of thing. He did have a slight heart murmur, still waiting on results for that yet. Other than that, Ellwyns biggest challenge is eating and breathing! Once he does that for a good 2 days worth on his own. They will be set to come home, hopefully.

I made this page for my daughter and her husband because any little donation helps right now. With the driving back and fourth to St Mary’s. Food money and their medical bills. It’s all starting to add up, and I really hate to see them struggle. When all they want is to bring that baby boy home. Keep Praying for them!

Thanks in advance :)
