April is a devoted wife, mother of 3, dedicated nurse, and the sole provider for her family. Multiple medical issues have caused her to not be able to work, undergoing treatments and surgeries. April held up and worked as a nurse through the pain and sickness as long as she could. Suffering herself, she continued working as a nurse caring for patients, with the support of her amazing coworkers and angel of a manager, Heather and her amazing coworkers.

However, April has had to hang up the scrubs for now, as she fights to get better.

April has been in healthcare almost 15 years. She started off as a CNA, worked up to RN, and grew to be the amazing nurse we know and love. If you meet her, you don't forget her bubbly, loving personality! Her patients love her, and the floors she floats to, she truly loves her nursing career. Nurse April has impacted thousands of lives, saved many, and proudly collects a wall of awards and cards from all of the patients she’s had the privilege of serving all of these years. April is also a devoted Christian and serves her community in many ways.

Now it is our turn to help her and her family, Any donations will help buy food, pay bills, and pay for medical procedures and medications. Any amount helps. April’s problems started a year ago with toilets filled with blood, a colorectal journey started, and she's in the middle of many complex medical issues. Her heart is struggling, as congenital heart defects have gotten worse due to her current condition, and she is also going to need surgery after her next colorectal surgery as well. April is undergoing multiple medical issues and needs our help! Thank you for helping her and her family.

April and her amazingly supportive husband have 3 amazing children, Maddy (10), Milly (5), and Mason (2). Between being in crippling pain, many medications, recovering from colorectal surgeries, upcoming surgeries, she’s become very depressed. She cannot provide for her family and depends on Josh (her husband) to care for her, the children, and her elderly mother at this time.
