HELP THE KIDS CANCER HOSPITAL ONLY DENTAL CLINIC!

Hi everyone :)

My name is Morris Mugo. I was born and raised in a small village in Eastern Kenya on the slopes of Mt. Kenya called Chuka in Meru.

I am a Dental professional based in the Washington DC area where I currently practice as a Dental Hygienist.

I am the founder of Safari N Smiles. This is a NON PROFIT segment (Pending ) organization that aims to do a great job by linking up the world with Africa by doing amazing trips for dental and medical professionals and their families or friends to create a lifetime of memories and give back while helping them earn CE Credits that a re tax write off.

I wanted to bring to your attention the big need for Dental Materials affecting The largest Free Children's Cancer Hospital in the world.

This Hospital's name is Children's Cancer Hospital 57357 and is located in Cairo, Egypt.

They are on the verge of closing their only dental clinic for their vulnerable patients dental clinic.

As you know, Safari N Smiles does Safaris to Africa that combines the trips with giving back to the local communities.

So in our trip to Egypt from March 1st, 2023 to March 8th, we are going to be supporting this place that gives hope to children with cancer and is currently in in need of some support.

Most of our group is composed of dental professionals and like-minded friends who like to travel while touching other people's lives. We desired to do actual dental work at the Children's clinic but due to the vulnerability of the patients and local policy in Egypt we were unable to do that.

The second alternative was to buy and take Dental materials to the clinic with us. However, it's a law in Egypt that any medical or dental material Must go through customs for clearance and this takes forever if not most of it heading up discarded.

This is heartbreaking for a lot of dentists and others who have dental materials that they wanted to donate.

However, in liaising with the Hospital, we are allowed to raise money on their behalf to buy the dental materials they need in Egypt.

We will publicly present a cheque of every penny we receive to the Hospital on March 7th around 11 AM with a group of 50 dental professionals and their families or friends who are going with us and we desire to also liaise with some people there who will buy the dental materials and make a follow up of the materials being presented to the kids.

Toothpaste for kids, floss, toothbrushes, toys And books are still a welcome donation if you can bring them to the trip( For those coming)or donate money to buy
