Help the Keil family get back on their feet.

The Keil family has lived on their family farm in Sylvania; Louis Keil and sons farm for as long as I can remember. They are all hardworking, honest, salt of the earth people. They wouldn't dream of asking for help, but are always the first to offer help to others. Any one of them would give you the shirt off of their back.

Walter and Shirley have given countless times to different charities over the years throughout their church and community. Their adult son Tim has worked the farm since childhood along side his father, uncle, brothers, and cousins. Tim is always available to help anyone with whatever he can. I have personally seen him donate his time, plants, and produce to those less fortunate.

Early Thursday morning their lives changed forever when a Semi truck failed to stop at Crissey road and slammed head on into their home. The impact was so great that it jolted their home 3 feet off of the foundation severing the gas line. The truck finally came to rest in the middle of their family room. The truck narrowly missed Shirley as she was resting in the living room. Tim's guardian angel must have been with him since he just left the family room minutes before the impact. The incident could have been so much worse, for that we are all thankful.

This family has not only lost their home but everything in it. With a dangerous winter cold snap and Christmas just days away, I am asking for help for them. Please consider donating to ease some of the discomfort as they try to put their lives back together.
