Help the journey of Arctic Court to Burning Man 2025

Hi, I am Veli, and I'm raising funds to bring multi sensory installation - Arctic Court & CUBE - to Burning Man.

CUBE is 6m x 6m x 2.8m acrylic walled structure with Arctic Court photography displayed inside.

The installation is lead by me with artist team coming from Finland and China.

Arctic Court is not just a photography installation; it is a heartfelt exploration of the human spirit, capturing the delicate dance between fragility and strength. Set against the stark beauty of Black Rock City, this project tells an ethereal love story woven into the fabric of winter—a celebration of resilience and transformation amidst the extremes of life.

At its core, Arctic Court features captivating images of characters like the Snow Queen and the LuxuryClown, adorned in intricate, ice-inspired costumes that symbolize both the beauty and vulnerability of the human experience. The Snow Queen, a poignant figure of self-discovery, embodies empowerment and inner strength, inviting participants to reflect on their own journeys. In the unforgiving environment of Burning Man, where the heat can be oppressive and the nights starkly cold, this installation serves as a reminder of the warmth that can emerge from our shared struggles.

The interplay of icy visuals against the desert backdrop will evoke wonder, prompting visitors to contemplate their own emotional landscapes. Arctic Court invites attendees to engage in a collaborative narrative of transformation, where their stories of resilience will intertwine with those of the installation.

We will create a "Wall of Ice," a space for participants to inscribe their coldest feelings—burdens, fears, and doubts—transforming them into a collective warmth as they share messages of hope, love, and connection. This wall will serve as a powerful symbol of community and healing, where the coldest ice will melt under the glow of shared humanity, fostering a sense of belonging and collective strength.

Arctic Court seeks to inspire introspection and connection, reminding us that even in our most challenging moments, we can find beauty and warmth in each other’s stories. Together, we will create a space where participants can not only witness art but become a part of it, contributing to a vibrant tapestry of human experience that thrives on the profound interplay of light and dark, cold and warm, fragile and strong.
