Help the Johnsons Battle Cancer

It is with great sadness that we share the passing today of Neill Johnson, at the age of 40, after a valiant battle with cancer. He fought bravely for two years, enduring chemo, radiation, brain and back surgeries. Husband, father, son, brother and friend, he passed peacefully in the presence of his family.

Neill’s passing leaves a huge hole, especially for Justine and their young children, Neill Jr, Josie, Jaide, and Jordynn. The Johnsons remain a strong, tight-knit group that needs your love and support as they grieve and navigate a future they never expected.

Your previous support made a difference and allowed the Johnsons more time spent together over the last 18 months. Funds will help with uncovered medical bills, three months of unpaid work leave for Justine, and funeral expenses.

Thanks to all of you, as well as the doctors and nurses at Seattle’s Virginia Mason and the hospice team from Cottage in the Meadow in Yakima, for the care and compassion shown during Neill’s illness.

Neill has been diagnosed with bone cancer, after months of trying to heal from a broken back.
 
The Johnsons are a strong, tight-knit unit preparing for a road that includes surgery, chemo and radiation. They will need to travel from Selah to Seattle for medical appointments while attending to their growing family - Neill Jr, 11, Josie, 10, and Jaide, 8, and baby Jordynn due in January.
