<div><strong>Candace Johnson, mother of Bear/Antonio, class of 2026 at Brophy, and Clarice, a sophomore in college, recently suffered a ruptured  aneurysm and has a lengthy hospital stay ahead of her.</strong> Candace is a wonderful human. She has an amazing story and has done so much to give her 2 kids a better life. At Brophy, she attends the Book Club and plays Mahjong, and she has participated in several retreats. If you haven’t met Candace, I hope you get the opportunity. At Brophy, Bear played football and wrestled, and he is a member of the Native American club. Over the summer, he participated in Brophy’s culinary program, so he knows how to cook. Both Bear and Clarice work at Lux Coffee.
