Katie’s restaurant, The Italian Pie Shoppe, has been a beloved fixture in St. Paul since 1985—serving the community for 21 years. Over the decades, it has become more than just a place to enjoy award-winning pizza—it’s a gathering spot where generations of families, friends, and neighbors have celebrated life’s milestones. From wedding showers and family get-togethers to sports team celebrations and community events, Katie has welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm slice of pizza. Her dedication to her customers has turned many into lifelong friends, and her restaurant into a cherished part of the local community.

 Recently, Katie learned that her current lease will expire in June, and the rent is increasing more than she expected. Faced with this challenge, she found a promising new storefront less than two miles from her current location, where the rent is more favorable. While this move brings hope for the future, it also comes with significant expenses—moving costs and renovations to create a welcoming dining space for her loyal customers.
