Help THE ICE MAN Rob Gough

For those of you who know Rob Gough THE ICE MAN He is a pillar of the community in Rainbow Beach. Over the past 12 months Rob and Martine’s business has been hindered from bush Fires in 2019/20 and then straight into COVID and just as things start to wind up and there is finally a light at the end of what has been a long dark tunnel today they were struck again with a savage blow. Rob has been involved in a severe accident as Martine writes below;

So this happened this morning on commute to work. Just want everyone to know Rob is ok. He was cut out of the truck and awaiting xrays for suspected hip/ back injuries. Iceman down!Turbo truck out of commission. Big Thank-you to all emergency services who attended the crash scene. Also Jack Dean for his amazing courage & strength relieving Robs crushed legs before jaws of life arrived. And to all the people of this great community who have rallied to get trucks out & operating for this long weekends beach goers. I am for ever grateful to all of you, you know who you are. Will keep you all updated on Robs prognosis as it comes to light. One lucky man to survive this & I’m one lucky wife to have this amazing husband alive. Always kiss one another good bye and tell one another how much you love them. You never know what’s going to happen literally 5 minutes up the road. Take care everyone.

It will be a long recovery for Rob and with Turbo truck a write-off they will have certain financial challenges to overcome with lost revenue so dig deep and help a friend who is always there for others.
