Help The Hungry- Illinois Valley Food Pantry

In the past 19 years the Knights of Columbus have collected over 86,000 pounds of food and over $40,000 for the Illinois Valley Food Pantry.  

  Members and volunteers collected food in the forgotten-poor gap between Christmas and Easter holiday (Super Bowl weekend) for the La Salle Food Pantry by standing in front of the 4 area grocery stores and giving patrons a list of items needed by The Food Pantry and requesting patrons to purchase an item from our list for The Food Pantry. 

   With the COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to group in front of stores to request items.  Between now and February 15th we need your help to feed over 300 local families by making a monetary donation through Gofundme or you can also donate at Hy-Vee in Peru. Just ask your cashier that you would like to make a donation at the checkout.  100% of all donations will go toward the food pantry. With your help, we hope we are successful at achieving our goal of $5,000.
