I'm a 22 year old woman who has been in a homeless situation before. I think it's wrong that we walk past the homeless every day and think nothing of it. We're supposed to love thy neighbor; aren't they our neighbors. Being homeless isn't something wrong it's sad. People see these struggling people and families and think because they beg that they are "bums" or a disgrace but in reality they just need a little boost of help to get on their feet again. I want to be the person they can look at and day thank you instead of I'm sorry.
